Join the volunteer team

It takes a LOT of hands to keep the band going. This year there are several ways to volunteer to help out with football games other than bus chaperoning. You can sign up for:
• Equipment Loading Pre-Game
• Bus Chaperone
• Equipment @ Game
• Stand Chaperone (1st half)
• Stand Chaperone (2nd half)
NOTE: IF YOU HAVE NOT YET TURNED IN YOUR BACKGROUND CHECK FORM, DO NOT SIGN UP AS A BUS CHAPERONE FOR GAME 1.

Questions? Email Chaperone Coordinator Dolores DeSantiago at jmdtundra @ aol.com. Be sure to include your email address and contact information.

Background checks: How it works

Any adult who is going to be around students has to have a FWISD ID—and that requires a security background check.

1) Get your form completed, it requires a Xerox of your drivers license.

2) Turn it in to Dolores DeSantiago, our chaperone coordinator, or to the lock box in the band hall.

3) Dolores will let you know when the district has cleared you.

4) You will then have to come by school and get your ID made. The wonderful ROTC commanders do it for us.
